These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things # Beauty Products

I’ve been feeling pretty sorry for myself on this August bank holiday weekend. We were meant to be heading to the Festibelly to see some fabulous festival acts, but alas Alex has had tonsillitis, which has now progressed onto an infection of his wisdom teeth… Nasty! We sadly had to cancel our weekend away, but the good news is that he is slowly feeling better and we might actually get out to Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair at Spitalfields tomorrow.

Anyway, I’ve had plenty of time to bumble around the house and sort through my numerous beauty products, so thought I’d kill a bit of time sharing a few of my current favourites with you…

Ojon Instant Restorative Hair Serum – I got this sample in a beauty box some time ago and genuinely love it. I use it once I’ve dried and styled my hair, being careful only to use a small amount through the ends. Oils can make my hair go a bit limp by the end of the day, but when used wisely this product is terrific for repairing split ends and taming the frizz.

Kimia Exquisite Rejuvenating Facial System – I’m not actually one to invest an enormous amount of money on one product, but after I tried a sample of this I decided to splash out. They claim that it is an anti-ageing blend of pure oils that aim to combat fine lines and wrinkles and rejuvenate skin cells, leaving your skin velvety smooth. I certainly  love the way it makes my skin feel, but  don’t use as much as is suggested – A little goes a very long way and I only apply it two or three times a week, rather than the suggested twice a day. I found that when I was using it more I found I came out in a few spots. Get the right balance and this product works a treat. Find out more HERE, but shop around as you can get it a lot cheaper from different online stores.

Taaj Himalaya Micellar Water – Another beauty box product that I will definitely purchase in the future. I haven’t used many make-up removers in the past, but this one feels great on my skin and does it’s job very well. It removes heavy eye makeup with ease, smells great and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh.

Rituals Cherry Blossom Water – Rituals can do no wrong for me at the moment. I have a few of their products, including some delicious tea which I’ll no doubt post about soon. I had a £5 voucher for the store, so decided to purchase this body mist. I’ve never actually used a body mist before, but thought it would be nice to use instead of a perfume on a daily basis, when I work from home. There is no need for me to use expensive perfumes when I’m just sitting in the house with the cat and dog now is there?! There are a few different scents, but this was the only one for me. Check out Rituals online HERE as there are always plenty of offers.

Now, I’m off to mooch around some more. I have agreed to work this evening, so my festival cancelled weekend has resulted in a bit of pocket money – Always a nice bonus!

Enjoy your Bank Holiday x

Ooh, some nice recommendations there, will be checking those out. There are Ritual stores here but I haven’t been in to them yet, will make sure I do so soon.
