On Saturday Alex and I made our way down to Dorset and attended the annual Chettle Villlage Fete. With a reported population of around 120 Chettle is not quite the thriving hub of a town that we are used to, but the village was definitely a lively and fun place to be for a bit of a break from it all this weekend.
What with the promise of ferret racing, a human fruit machine, welly wanging, cow pat bingo, splat the rat and sniff my whiff how could we resist!?
A lovely picturesque drive and a great day for some local cider.
