Michael Kors Petite Coat Puffer From Macy’s

Last month, I started out on a mission to purchase a new coat. It’s been quite a while since I bought one and my old coat is looking pretty tired and worn out. As much as I love it, the time has come for us to part company… Or at least see each other less. After scouring the UK online stores on various occasions, I was at my wits end! I knew was never going to find a petite coat that I liked, for a price that I could afford. So, on the off chance, I headed over to Macy’s online store as I had purchased my last coat from there when we visited New York quite some time ago.Β  What do you know… My luck was in!

This Michael Kors Petite Coat Puffer (in black) is just the coat I was looking for. I’ve always wanted to wear a coat like this, but most of the puffers that I had previously tried made me look like the Michelin man. This one has just the right amount of puff and is extremely cosy and warm. It also has plenty of space for layering underneath and the quality is superb. As with most things I own, I do need to take it to my tailor – Just a small bit of nip and tuck (on the coat, not me!) and I should have a new friend for the next few years.

The picture shows the coat in a gunmetal colour, as I can’t for the life of me save an image of the black coat that I purchased!
As soon as I’ve had mine altered I might get someone to pap me in it for your viewing pleasure. How kind.

Do you have trouble buying coats? Do you know any good places that petite shoppers should be heading for their Winter warmers?
