Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope there aren’t too many of you nursing sore heads today. As usual, I worked on New Year’s Eve and on the stroke of midnight was receiving verbal abuse from a  clubber who had forgotten her ticket and couldn’t get in for the balloon drop. How lovely. Luckily I’ve never really been too fussed about New Year celebrations – I have to say that I’m definitely not one for making New Year resolutions, and I could think of nothing more depressing than having a booze and fat free January!  Good luck to all of you that have set yourself those tasks though, I know it can be pretty tough. I think I’ll just do it a bit further down the line, or just stick to my everything in moderation rule.

I regretfully have to start of the year off with a trip to the dentist tomorrow as I have to have a tooth removed ready for an implant a few months down the line. I’ve been dreading it for months and have been having loads of nightmares recently, but the time has come to sort it out and I know I’ll be a happier person once it is out of the way. I’ve suffered from terrible headaches for ages now, due to the tooth pain, so I’m hoping they will be instantly cleared and that I might even be a little less cranky when I wake up every morning! *dreams*

As well as me having a weekly relationship with my dentist over the next month, I have a little plan to start a new blog with Alex. I won’t give much away now, but I can tell you that it involves us seeing a lot more of the UK, which is something I have wanted to do for a while now. Keep ’em peeled folks and I’ll let you know when it all comes together.

Until next time folks. I hope you all have a fab 2013! x

What a gorgeous photo! I was at the Southbank CEntre outside watching the smoke…I mean fireworks. Next year, I’m so going to be on the other side of the river! Good luck with the tooth stuff-hoping it helps! I look forward to seeing you go around the UK; that is something I really hope I can do so if you need a buddy, let me know! Take care!
