Bloggers Block

Excuse the blogging silence, but I’m afraid to say I’ve had bloggers block. I think the January blues hit me towards the end of the month, and it’s fair to say I’ve been struggling to come up with interesting things to write about. Not much is inspiring me at the moment, and my regular readers will know that I’m certainly not a fan of this cold weather, so I haven’t ventured out much. Brrr.

I’ve been eating too much, not keeping up with any exercise and dreaming of tropical holidays I’ll never be able to take. I’ve also been making lots and lots of trips to the dentist and there is still more to be done. Ouch! None of this makes for light reading, so the blog has suffered.

The good news is that things are looking up… We’ve got a trip to Devon coming up this weekend, and our new Dog Friendly UK blog has launched, so we’ve got more of a reason to drag ourselves out. I’ve finally managed to scrape together a few pennies to purchase some products for review and I’ve also got a few recipes that I’m keen to share with you all. Oink.

Anyway, moving on… I’ll be back soon because I’ve spent a lot of time teaching myself about SEO (semi pro) and I’m not prepared to waste it all!

What do you guys do when you get bloggers block… Just sit it out?

Here’s a bit of Fat Cat and Betsy the Chihuahua action to keep you entertained in the meantime…

No probs hun – you and me both at the mo with bloggers block. Real life is in the way too which is always a bummer! I just sit it out and I only blog when I feel like it anyway, I’m not a really regular blogger by any stretch of the imagination!

I think everyone goes through this. It’s gotta be difficult to think of entertaining/inspiring/exciting things to blog about. I’m no full time blogger, so just add things when I’ve something to say, but even then if I’m not feeling it and haven’t posted in a while a feel a little pressure.
It’s always nice to hear that you’re not alone though. And a guess a lot of us, spend a lot of time at home working, which although lovely can be a little isolating.
I say blog when you feel and go by quality rather than quantity.
    Hope you’ve beaten those blues. ; ) x

Ugh, yes. My own mood could not be summed up better, this winter is the pits! Here’s hoping the winter slog doesn’t last much longer. :)
